ClaireZane is an environmental educator, counselor in training, yoga instructor, community organizer, lover of permaculture and macrobiotic food, and recycled jewelry designer.
She specializes in working with adolescents through organizations dedicated to the environment and social justice. Having worked as an instructor at institutions such as Prescott College, Deer Hill Expeditions, Bold and Gold Mountain School, Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, and the Student Conservation Association, she is now keen to begin organizing specialized trips with other professionals out of the North Fork Valley.
Currently, ClaireZane is finishing a masters degree in Counseling Psychology with concentrations in Ecopsychology and Somatic Therapy. Clinical work in narrative feminist therapy may be taking her out of Paonia this spring, however, she considers the North Fork Valley her home base for many years to come.
Fashion is also passion of hers – most recently she has been polishing a line of earrings made from recycled materials.
In her free time CZ can be found practicing yoga/acro yoga, dreaming about tiny homes, cycling, doing Zumba, hosting a mean art night, making macrobiotic food, gardening, exploring the wild and beatiful corners of the world or playing with her new puppy!
